Competition

We hold monthly box leagues for adults and juniors featuring 100 players of all abilities and ages.   Players are promoted and relegated each month so all players can enjoy squash against players of similar standard.

Recently introduced and proving extremely popular are the doubles leagues.  Played in a friendly atmosphere they are never the less proving extremely competitive.  The more advance junior members being encouraged to join in and learn the art of doubles play against some of the more experienced members.

Squash teams compete in the Sussex Squash League with 6 men’s teams and 1 Ladies team.  Junior teams for all age groups represent the club in various team events during the season.

The 2003/2004 season proving very good with the third, fourth and fifth teams all gaining promotion as well as the ladies team showing the depth of ability within the club.

End of season tournaments take place during April and May when members compete in Men’s and Ladies singles tournaments, doubles and mixed doubles and handicap competitions.

During the season various other competitions take place to keep all members fully involved.
